Photography: Putrajaya

Another nothing better to do day. So decided to take some photos at Putrajaya.

It looks like a mosque... not sure why they need so many spot lights shining towards the sky... It that a landing spot for Aliens or wat I dunno.

Could have taken more photos. I even saw a stunning phenomenon which was RED colour wide spread LIGHTNING towards the direction of the last photo. I didn't manage to capture any of those because there was a STUPID POLICE PATROL chasing me away because I parked at the road side....

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

It's freaking 2am and me parking at the road side won't obstruct ANY TRAFFIC~! They are FREAKING RETARDS I TELL YOU~! RETARDS~!
Didn't want to argue and there wasn't any car park nearby too.... so I had to leave with just 3 photos above...

I'LL BE BACH~! DAMMIT

Evening at Esplanade Singapore

I forgotten what was my purpose to visit Esplanade already.... I think I was there to teach Shi May how to use her DSLR... but then didn't see any of her photo in this album so I can't confirm.

But then, this is the time when I truly realise how important the golden hour of taking photo is. Golden hour generally is in the evening between 6pm to 7.30pm where the sun is setting and the sky is turning from yellow to orange and slowly turn dark. Photo taken during this hour is really really stunningly beautiful. For an amateur like me, I am quite amuse with the results of the pictures taken this session.

This is a building at Esplanade called Theatres on the Bay. The roof looks like durian right? hehe. The roofs are actually Aluminium plates but as you can see here, the roof turned into Golden plates. A lot of my friends who have seen this photo posted on my facebook actually asked me if the building was renovated~! Hehe.

This was taken at the same day, just different time. This is how the roof original look like.... like durian~!

Night view at Esplanade.

Balls outside of Theatres on the Bay. Might be Nick's balls

Don't know what building it is... but it sure looks similar to Komtar in Penang... but the cleaner version.

Trying to shoot an over exposed picture. Turns out not bad.

Skyscraper near Esplanade.

This is the Panoramic shot of Esplanade at night.

That's all for this album. If you like the picture, just click on it and a larger version will appear. If you want to get one as your wallpaper, just IM me and I will send a version without the frame and watermark. Just for friends only of course.

Sleep lor.. Good nite.

Penang Panorama Pictars

Oh yeah. The blog is slightly alive again. The photos are so overdue already... lol.

I know the pictures might appear small here, just click those picture and you'll get to see the larger version of it~!

This picture is taken from the beach around Bagan Ajam area... beside the new useless highway...

More

This is the port at Butterworth... right before the useless highway...

This was taken at the padi field at Kampung Kuala Muda... which is right beside the border of Kedah and Penang. I got a friend from JB that thought these were lalang / coarse weeds... LOL

Beach at Kampung Kuala Muda... It's a fishing village, so we can't expect white fine sand here.

These were all taken last year... I still have a lot to catch up~! And still there's another before and after~!

Reminder: CLICK THOSE PICTARS~!!

PC Housekeeping

It's been months since I clean up the internal casing of my computer. Could imagine how dirty and dusty inside. Should have taken 1 photo of it when it was super untidy and full of thick layer of dust. The fan was also getting noisier than usual already as heats build up easily if the heat sink is really dirty. Heat will not dissipate efficiently.

After 4 hours of cleaning and cable rearranging... TADA~!!!! By the way, I build this computer from scratch by myself. All the parts and cables are installed by me. Damn I'm good at building a computer system!

Oh well.... this is a 1 and half years old computer... Shouldn't be changing anything for another few years. Although it's old, the specification of this PC is still so awesome.

CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) Quadcore 9550 @ 2.2GHz
Motherboard: Asus M3A78 Pro
Memory: 2x 2GB DDRII 800
Hard disk: 1TB Seagate SATA 7200rpm
Optical Drive: LG DVD-RW
Graphics: Sapphire ATI 512MB HD4850 DDR3
Power Supply: Antec Trio True Power 550W
Casing: Power Logic Azzura 2000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

Isn't this awesome or what!

There will be more. ^_^

Flower Shots I

More pictures from Cameron Highland. Some of them taken from Cactus Point. Some taken from Rose Center. In this post, I uploaded all the close up shots of flowers. I'm still slowly added text into the pictures 1 by 1. Quite time consuming. I'll just upload them part by part.

That's all for this post... Just 5 only... haha... Too lazy already. Coz I just pick out all the flower shots. Total about 28 pictures. Maybe I'll upload more tomorrow. Time to sleep. Good night. :D

Chrysanthemum

Trying out some Photoshop technique. I picked only the colour of the flower. Other colours are reduced to almost black and white.

Also this is the first time I try glowing text feature in Photoshop.

Very tired already... Spend too much time experimenting. Time to sleep.

ZZzzzzz..........

Sushi Zanmai

Visited Midvalley before going back to Singapore during my trip to Cameron Highlands. I actually took more photos at Cameron Highlands but I'm still arranging and editing them at the moment. Because there are about 3GB of photos I've taken there. Many of them are ugly so I'm trying to filter out all those ugly ones.

Actually nothing much I'm going to write today. Just post up some pictures I took when I was having brunch at Sushi Zanmai, Midvalley. This is one of my favourite Japanese Restaurant. Price there is reasonable, quality of the food there is better than those Japanese Franchise outlet like Sushi King or Sakae Sushi.

Picture of the shop is a little blur but what the hell... it's the only picture I took.

This is lobster Harumaki. It was that week's promotion.

Beef salad. My dad likes it. Taste so so to me because it's just normal salad with few slices of beef.

Ordered Tendon again :p Loves it~!

I'll be still editing the Cameron Highlands photo. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Cameron Highlands II

Here are more photos. Click them for 1280 resolution (Bigger Size) version of the pictures. :)

This was taken on the way up. This waterfall easily seen on the way up to Cameron Highland from Tapah direction. It's located before Ringlet, the first town you'll see on the way up to Cameron Highlands. I am actually quite surprised how the picture turn out. At first I thought the photo will turn out better with fast shutter speed. How wrong was I. The picture above was taken at shutter speed of 1/13sec to capture the smoothing effect of water. Lesson learned.

This was taken at Shell petrol station at Ringlet. Have to stop there... no choice... bladder full already.

Same location as the previous post, this was taken at the Tea House, facing the Tea Leaf Plantation. Just look at how peaceful the place is. How I wish I can stay there forever.... seriously.

There's a cactus farm before Brinchang, the peak of Cameron Highlands. Took lots of photo there but this is the one I like the most.

This fern leaf was shot at the hotel I stayed. It's a HDR image.

There's more to come. Don't really have the time to post them up :p

By the way, please let me know if the link for the full size picture fails.

Another awesome picture.

Another HDR Image.

Untitled

I retouched this photo again. This was taken at the East Coast Park.

So many people in front of me blocking my view. This is the best shot I took out of 20 of them. Actually I didn't even get to see even the hair of Jolin Tsai that night. Should have brought a ladder.
