Penang Char Koey Teow

Gotta make this post today. It's the leap year and today is February 29th which happens every 4 years. The weather is also quite nice... so I decided to post something up today. Another late post though...

FOOD~!! This time, it's no more about Raja Uda food. Everyone knows Penang is famous for its Char Koey Teow(CKT). There is no other place in M'sia other than Penang serve good CKT. Just look at the picture below....


This picture explain it all.... Just see the ridiculously oilly CKT with big prawns + pig fats + sotong + tau geh... OMG.... IT A KILLER MEAL~! I really missed this CKT a lot. This CKT is really addictive. I had them since I was in primary school. Believe me... I could take the CKT from this same stall for 3 months. Thats how much I love CKT. It was near my house last time. Now the stall has moved to a new place. I'll show the location below.


Another nice food available there is the Otak-otak. Just look at the juice... the texture... the aroma... the steam...

Although the food portion is small in Penang, but thats also the beauty of Penang food. Coz u can eat more of other nice food in Penang. Can't wait to go back again~!!!

Witness a Ship Launching

This is the first time I witness a ship got pushed into the sea. To be honest... I got no idea how they move a ship as heavy as few thousand tons from the land to the sea.


Behind me is the ship that's going to be going into the sea for the first time.


Since the ship is so big, it would be damn impossible to use a crane to lift it up. Coz the ship would be much heavier than the crane. Above photo is one of the biggest ship crane in Singapore.


This shot is taken while the ship is still on land. It will be going into the sea moments later.


I was really surprise on how the ship is being pushed into the sea. At first, I tot the pillars below the ship will break then only the ship will start sliding little by little into the sea. I really tot it would take hours to move the ship into the sea. But I was so so wrong.... the ship slides into the sea with the pillar along, and it takes only seconds for the ship to move from the ground to the sea. I was really taken by surprise on how its being executed.


And now, the ship is on the sea already. Its a great experience for me. This shows that I still got a long way to go in ship building business.

Jacky Cheung 永远的歌神

Another late post I suppose. Last month, I went to Jacky Cheung's Encore 07' concert, 学友光年巡回演唱会07' at Singapore Indoor Stadium. I didn't decide to watch the concert until last minute. I bought the tickets online around 5.30 pm and the concerts starts at 8.30pm.

My dad used to play Jacky Cheung's cassette in the car a lot and 吻别（Kiss Goodbye) is my dad's favorite song to sing in Karaoke session. Thats when I grew to love Jacky Cheung's songs. His voice is so unique and powerful. I remember during that time, he was ranked the 4 of the best singers in Hong Kong. They are called the 四大天王 alongside with Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau and Leon Lai. But still I love his song the most.

I knew about his concert since december... but I was really undecided whether to go or not... as the tickets are quite expensive and I wasn't sure who would want to watch the concert with me. Until the last minute... I am still really really undecided whether to go or not... but after watching the concert... I felt the concert is worth every cent that I spent. The performance was really really SUPERB~!! He sang 25 songs that I knew for more than 3 hours~!!!! (Haven't counted those new songs that I never heard b4).

I bought the most expensive tickets so that I can be really near the stage.






YES~! I got the tickets!

His dance move was so power till he was sweating all over~!

There are few songs that I didn't now the title... however... I could confirm that there are more than 25 songs sang by him that night... Songs that grow up with me, songs that I sing every Karaoke session, songs that I might use to tackle gals... hehe. He ended the concert with 祝福...
If given the chance, I wouldn't think twice attending his concert next time. Its really worth every cent that I spent and I will say it again and again! I really appreciate the effort and energy that Jacky has put into it. The best thing is that he never lower the key of every song he sang... every song is so original... and he doesn't look like 46 years old I tell u. So energetic, lively and he really can bring up the crowd. Pure powerhouse~!

I hope he comes again soon~! I sure will get the tickets as early as possible so that I can get the front seat.

HUGO XY I won

Another super late post... I won this Hugo XY from kennysia.com back in November 5th... and now I finally got hold of it coz I wasn't able to collect when it was send back to my hometown...
The funny thing was... b4 I got back home, my mom told me that she have received the perfume already... When I got home... wat I saw was....


This.... just a sample tester from HUGO..... which I got it bcoz I requested for sample from HUGO's website... dang... I tot I was able to get my perfume by the time I get back hometown...


The perfume finally arrived on Dec 5... my birthday... AND I LEFT MY HOMETOWN ALREADY~!! WTF~~!!!

So after sitting at Penang for 2 month... and used by my dad for a few times.... I finally get hold of it during my trip back home during CNY....

Thats why this post is so late lor... aih...

Now I got fragrance to use liao~!!
