My 2nd concert~!!! Jeff Chang 张信哲 has always been the King of love song from Taiwan.
I get to listen to his songs while I was staying with my aunt. My cousin love his songs so much that she plays it all day. It was many years back, so that's why I am more familiar with his old hits like 爱如潮水, 太想爱你 and 难以抗拒你容颜. Again... I was worried if Jeff Chang start singing all his new songs that I got no idea wat so ever... Luckily, he slot in new songs in between all his old hits! If not, I honestly will fall asleep snoring away the whole concert.
OMG~!! I am so so lucky to get the Section A4 Row 5 tickets~!! It's just right in front of the stage~!!!
Not sure how many ppl there... but it's sure a full house
Overall the concert was not bad. Not as good if compared to Jacky Cheung's of course. As the theme of the concert is Symphony Orchestra... so the audience was kind of serious for the first few songs... fans were not really shouting at the beginning... The atmosphere was just so serious that Jeff was relieved when his fans shouted "阿哲你好帅!!" after the 3rd or 4th song.
Man... he really needs to shed some weight...
Cheese~!
From the pictures, you can see that he is so chubby already compare to his old days... Age should have something to do with him getting fat... Although he is chubby, he still got the stamina to perform for 3 hours..
Below is the song list in order...
宽容
信仰
不要对他说
从开始到现在
直觉
别怕我伤心
到处留情
说谎
我是真的爱你
三家店
Dunno wat song
上海姑娘
太想爱你
Dunno wat song
用情
回来
过火
白月光
做你的男人
逃生
爱如潮水
难以抗拒你容颜
多想
我真的愿意
His voice is still as good. Besides the Symphony Orchestra thing... The concert is good~!
Hope he can sell his next album 《逃生》 well.

Brewerkz
This was suppose the night where Munak, Fritz and me go meet Elin for the first time. Somehow Munak got stuck in KL and he fly kite... so we went ahead without him.
Brewerkz got 3 outlets in Singapore. We went to the outlet located at Clarke Quay. My 4th visit to Brewerkz now. The previous 3 times, I was there together with clients/boss/colleagues. I am glad that this time I have 2 gals having beer together with me here... although I did most of the drinking... Fritz did helped out a little.... Elin still small girl, she had only few sips...^^
We ordered 2 jugs of beer, 1 jug of Golden Ale and another jug of Wheat Beer.
Refreshing Cold Beer~
What's so different about beer served here? From my amateurish opinion, the most obvious characteristic that distinguish beer served in Brewerkz compared to Tiger Beer is the aroma. And of course, the beer here is FRESH as they brew their beer locally or I should say... they made their beer in the restaurant itself. There is nothing fresher than this you can ever get.
The we got freaking big onion rings.... really missed my days in UK where we can get big onions like this over there.
Buffalo wings that Munak recommended to us during the previous meet up.... lets just say that neither Fritz, Elin or me knows how to appreciate the wings.... hehe (We can't finish the wings u know~!!)
Calamari... just love it~!! Should have ordered more of these~!
Seafood Spaghetti ordered by Elin~! I tasted some and I really like it. Might order this for myself next time.
I didn't take any close shots on Fritz's mutton.... that is sure some big piece of thigh there...
And more camwhore~~
First time I enjoyed myself at Brewerkz honestly. There was so much crap talking that we were the last table to leave the restaurant. I'm sure I'll be back visiting Brewerkz again soon. YESH~!

Pak Lah Lied In Front Of Our Face Again
"Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi reminded the Chinese community that if they gave the DAP their votes, they will end up not having any representation in the Government."
[source]
Above was wat Pak Lah said BEFORE the election.
"Despite losing many leaders from Barisan Nasional component parties in the general election, the Prime Minister has given an assurance that these parties would still be represented in the Cabinet."
[source]
Now this is wat he said AFTER the election. And yet he was criticizing that Anwar is a chameleon. He is no different at all. Saying different things at different times. Its not even 1 week apart.
" To a question on whether the election results showed that people were angry with him personally, Abdullah said: “Maybe, I do not know.'' He said as Barisan Nasional leader, he just had to see what would happen after this. "
[source]
Still many things he don't know.... Still ignorant as ever... This is why BN lost so many seats during the election, HE IS NOT LISTENING TO THE RAKYAT. Please LEARN Pak Lah.... please..... Listening to the sweet words from your ministers are poison... they are poisoning your mind Pak Lah.... We need a leader that listen to what the RAKYAT has to say. At LEAST LISTEN.
Next 5 years will be an uphill task for the PM and also the opposition. Both have to perform so good that it will decide which coalition will stay... and which one will leave....
To all leaders out there... please learn to listen. Not only during election campaign... but all the time. Please remember thats the reason why you are elected.

Final Results of Malaysian 12th General Election
Somehow, there were few seats where the voting date was set at 9th of March. So we finally get the complete results of the Malaysian 12th General Election.
During year 2004, the Barisan National (BN) has won 90.4% of the Parliament seats. With 3 years of bad performance and bad decisions made by BN, we see the drop of 27.33% to 63.06% of Parliament seats won by Barisan National. Still the Prime Minister is figuring out if the citizens are sending a message to the government..... the message is not clear enough heh?
In the past, citizens will elect the government for state seats even though they support the opposition in Parliament seats. This is due to concern that government will only develop states that are won by BN. However, in this term's election, BN also see a deep decline of support from the citizens losing 5 states in total. The states are Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan. Its ironic that these 5 states are sticked together sharing borders.
Lets see today's news....
"I’m not quitting, says Pak Lah
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said he will not resign and will continue Barisan Nasional’s struggle."
THICK FACE... wan to lose in the next election then only you will step down?
"Police to remain neutral, says Musa
The police will continue to remain neutral in serving the Government and rakyat, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan."
Retard... to remain neutral, you serve the COUNTRY and RAKYAT~! Not the GOVERNMENT~!
"Koh offers to step down
Acting Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon has taken full responsibility for the party’s poor showing in the general election and offered to step down, and urged the people of Penang to give their full support to the leaders they had chosen."
Should have done that b4 you guys thinking of selecting who will be the next Chief Ministor... The good thing is, the next Chief Ministor was never revealed and it will remain the same.
"Find out why BN was bruised, says Rafidah
Wanita Umno head Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz said Barisan Nasional should conduct a post-mortem on the shocking losses in the 12th general election so that they would not recur."
This AP Queen still haven't figure it out..... I think she cry her brains out when Mahathir said he wans to step down and also during her AP scandal incident. Still need another knock in the next election to wake up??

Malaysia Getting Balanced Again
A big news for all Malaysians in this 12th General Election, the ruling party of Malaysia, Barisan National (BN) has been denied 2/3 of total parliament seats in Malaysia. The ruling party also lost 5 states in this process. Penang, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan and Selangor has been taken over by opposition party. This is not surprising at all looking at performance of the government in the last 5 years. People has the desire to change, the desire to make our home country Malaysia a better place to live.
I too desired change in my country. I took a day leave and went back to Wangsa Maju, KL to cast my vote against the rulling party.
Traffic Jam as usual for KL.... Lack of public transport.... The opposition has a lot to do to improve the current situation.
Parliament results as in 10.42am 9/3/2008
State Seats results as in 10.42am 9/3/2008
On whether the loss of several Barisan-held seats meant that the people were sending a message that they were unhappy with the Government, Abdullah said:
“Maybe. There are a lot of messages from the people. What’s important is that I will speak about these matters.” [Source]
With above statements... looks like Pak Lah still have not wake up. Message has been clear all the time and he needs to wait till election to know that "There are a lot of messages from the people."
Crap....
Asked whether there was any pressure from Umno for him to resign, Abdullah replied:
“I don’t know who is pressuring me. There’s no pressure for me (to resign) at this time.” [Source]
How clear he wants the message to be?? He wants to wait until a memorandum is being passed to the Agong asking him to resign?? Another typical thick face answer.
CRAP....
On the implications to the Barisan of the losses by component parties, Abdullah said the losses had to be accepted.
“Dah kalah, kalahlah (If it’s a loss, it’s a loss),” he replied.[Source]
Sounds like he will not do better in future to win back the votes. Sounds like nothing will be done coz the rulling party still won by minor majority.
I really hope after this election, the rulling party learn their lesson and they will really do something to help out all Malaysian's by stopping all the nonsense projects, corruptions, stupid statements, marginalization towards minority and start listening to the RAKYAT to make Malaysia a better place to live in.
Pak Lah / future PM, please remember... the RAKYAT is your BOSS. Dun make the RAKYAT remind you again in the next General Election.

Sad things to see
March 8th would be General Election for Malaysia. The country where I was born and raised up. For once every 5 years, we are able to vote for the leader we believe in, a person who will listen to the rakyat and also a person to help the rakyat solve problems. Many things happened in Butterworth, Penang the past 5 years. Below are the few bad signs I see in Penang...
The MPSP appreciation board.... I wonder why the council would spend these money and builds boards like this around Butterworth...
Then, we see this kind of road condition in Seberang Jaya.... I think the road has not been resurfaced since the election 5 years ago... Just look at how bad is it...
Then, we have this toll booths built AFTER the Kulim Butterworth highway. This road has been completed for around 10 years, and they build the toll booths to collect our money? This toll has been operating since year 2007. Petrol prices has already gone up, and this is how they wanna suck more money out of us citizens?
Just take a look at this... This is part of the road with the new toll booth. It seems that they take care the toll booth much better than they take care of the road.... Just look at the condition here... There are pot holes everywhere on the road. And yet they dare to collect money from us every time we use the road.
Now after thinking for a while, I felt that the government seems to be bullying us ppl in Penang. We have to put parking coupons like Singapore everywhere if the location is under the care of Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MPSP). I dun really have to worry about parking coupons when I was staying in KL... I wonder why.... bcoz there are more chinese in Penang?
This are the evidence I collected to proof that the government is not helping Penang ppl at all. It would take me another hour to describe all the bad decisions made by the government for Penang. Bad decisions like the outer ring road of Butterworth (with expensive toll rates), toll collection for Penang bridge which exist ever since..... it was build....
My point is... its time for change in Penang. Vote BN out. Say no to BN... We don't want to wait another 5 years for nothing.

Pak Lah Insulting Himself As Racist
"Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi reminded the Chinese community that if they gave the DAP their votes, they will end up not having any representation in the Government."
[Source]
Above quote is taken from thestar.com.my. As you can see, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi or better known as Pak Lah is telling us Chinese that we have to vote for BN/MCA/Gerakan so that voices of Chinese could be heard. And there he was saying Barisan National is working for all rakyat Malaysia regardless of race. By above quote, does he mean that if MCA did not win any seats, BN will not serve the Chinese?? It certainly sounds like it to me.
So let us all think really really hard before voting. Is this a threat?? Is he trying to tell us that the government would isolate places where the ppl vote against BN? Is this how the government operates??
Even so, in the past 5 years, did MCA really voiced out the concerns of Chinese?? Did all STPM scholars get to study wat they want? Does local university take in students base on merit system in a level playing field? Are they building more chinese schools instead of just replacing the old schools? Why even mention the word CHINESE when Pak Lah always said that we work together as MALAYSIAN?
I really feel sick looking at thestar.com.my these few days... Everything reported there are so biased to BN aka rulling party of Malaysia ever since.... independence?
Just look at the Election News and you'll know how sick I felt....
I am sick of the government... and I am sick of the stupid statements given by our stupid ministers and I am sick of the RM400 screwdrivers, sick of those ministers accusing parents for negligence instead of putting the effort to find the criminal that killed a young innocent child.....
Say NO to BN. Do not give them another 5 years... we have been screwed for 50 years already. Enough is enough.
