Watched it last week and 2 words for this movie: Mind Provoking~!
It's so damn awesome, throughout the movie it kept me thinking about the possibilities and to link up the details and information provided.
It seems like Leonardo DiCaprio's movies got these similarities where it throws a question to you right at the ending.... like Shuttle Island... leaving you stranded when the movie ends.... let you choose to believe watever you want to believe.
Anyways, go watch Inception if you haven't~! AWESOME~!

Review on the 1st Day of the Month
It's August 1st. 7 months has passed by. 1 question that I keep thinking to myself. What have I done lately??
Depending on how I look at it, it can be a quite a depressing question but also a happy question to answer.
Things I've done this year that I haven't been able to do for years after graduation.
- Switched job, switched line, switched country... switched watever there is to switch but my sex. Came back from Sillypore and now back in Bolehland and enjoying every minute of it.
- Conquered Bukit Timah at Singapore - 164m lolwtf... just an ant hill that I should have gone more often when I was there for 3 freaking years
- Conquered Bukit Broga at Broga, Selangor - 400m for 3 times as of now
- Had 2 train rides. 1 for 12 hours, another one for 15 hours and KTM still sucks
- Experienced caving. 3 caves which were Gua Keris, Gua Gajah and Gua Gelap
- Conquered Gunung Stong at Jelawang, Kelantan - 1422m really hardcore.
- Conquered Bukit Kutu at Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor - 1100m also hardcore but slightly easier compared to Stong.
- Experienced white water rafting at Kuala Kubu Bharu, Sungai Selangor with Grade III and IV rapids
- Weekend holiday at Port Dickson with crazy drinkers
- BBQ party. Didn't do it for donkey years already.
- Visited Sentosa Island, Singapore... another lulz coz didn't do that during the 3 years I stayed there.
- Went clubbing... hmm... I think I didn't do those for quite some time also
- Had Bak Kut Teh at Klang. Really first time in my life.
- Went to Bon Odori festival at Matsushita Stadium, Shah Alam. It was such a disapointment actually.
- Visited Restoran Murni SS2 FINALLY~! Yeah, Boo said if you've never been to Murni, you've not experienced KL... lols
- Tried Pun Choi (盆菜) which is a traditional type of food originated from Hakka cuisine.
Think that is about all the things I did for the year and below are the things I am planning to do or planned to do in coming months or years.
- Conquer Mount Kinabalu
- Vist Kota Kinabalu at the same time
- Conquer Bukit Tabur
- Conquer Gunung Besar at Endau Rompin, Johor.
- Visit Macau and Hong Kong which includes Bungee Jumping
- Investment.... go deep into something worth investing my time
- Conquer Bukit Dukun at Bukit Mertajam, Penang... another ant hill actually but fail to conquer since secondary school days.
- Have a full body health scan.
- Buy a new lens for my DSLR
- Learn how to take better photos
- Write more blog entries than year 2007 with quality contents
- Build up more muscles instead of fats
- Grow more hair (If possible)
There are more things that I want to do or have actually but I'll stop right here...
See how it goes.
Talk is cheap, I need more action and enjoy life~!

DELL Vostro 1400
I got a new laptop from company before CNY.
Before CNY was around.... 21st January. They processed my order quite fast considering that I heard rumors that they need 1 month to process an order. I placed the order on 17th January and I got it on 21st~! Looks like Dell business drop a lot.
Following is the spec of the DELL Vostro 1400 I got.
-Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T7500, 2.2GHz, 4MB Cache, 800 MHz FSB
-Genuine Windows(R) XP Professional SP2
-14.1" UltraSharp(TM) Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x 1900) TFT Display with TrueLife(TM)
-2GB (2 X 1024MB) 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
-250GB SATA Hard Drive
-Internal 8X DVD+/-RW, Dual Layer
-NVIDIA(R) GeForce(TM) 8400M GS with 128MB GDDR3 dedicated graphic memory
-Integrated 2.0 Megapixel webcam
-Microsoft(R) Office 2007 Basic OEM Version c/w Word/Excel/Outlook
-McAfee(R) Security Center(TM) - 24 Months OEM
-3-Year Limited Warranty (Next Business Day Service - parts & labour)
-3 Years Plus Phone Support: Mon-Fri 0900-2100, Sat 0900-1600
-8-in-1 media card reader
-Bluetooth + Wireless A/B/G + Fast Ethernet + 56k Modem
There are still many details like those bundled software and accessories that I didn't mention above. They are just insignificant.
This laptop cost S$2,095.06 inclusive of GST 7%.
My house mates bought the exact same laptop too. Without Microsoft Office, McAfee Security Center and only 1 year warranty, they got it at RM3,202.00.
Including my unit, we have 4 same laptop at home. Like we are die hard Dell supporter... haha. But obviously we bought this laptop because it's dang cheap. Oh yeah, and the sales girl whom I spoke to have a really nice voice. Too bad I only ordered a laptop from her. As I placed order for another 3 Desktop Computer online already.
Before I finalized my decision, I actually went to survey around Singapore to check on pricing of current laptops. At that time, IBM Thinkpad, Toshiba can easily cost S$2,400 compare to mine which is just S$2,100 with the same spec if not lousier. Good deal right? Can help the company save S$300.
Performance wise, I am also quite satisfied after manually tweaking it. It was kinda lag when I first used it. I can type a lot of things and it appear only after a second... Well, blame all the bundled software installed by DELL... such as Media Direct, Network Assistant.
Surprisingly this laptop able to produce the same 3D Mark score with my previous company laptop with ATI X700 graphic card. It surprised me a little coz 8400GS is just an entry level GPU compare with X700 which is a mid-range level GPU a few generations back. But then entry level is still entry level. I'm happy as long as it's not built-in graphics.
Physical appearance of the laptop, looks good to me. I dun really care how my laptop look anyway. Coz most of the time I will be just looking at the monitor. My eyes won't have time to appreciate how the back of my monitor look and I won't care if ppl will feel amazed with my laptop or not. As long as the laptop perform well, I dun really care. I wouldn't want a expensive laptop which look pretty and all but perform like shit.
After 5 months using it, I still do not have any complains for this laptop. Still dun understand why some ppl hate DELL so much. Maybe the have bad experience with DELL like how I had bad experience with ACER. Dunno if Acer improved, as my opinion is based on my past experience.
That's about all I have to say about this DELL Vostro 1400.

Motorola MOTOKRZR K3m
I've joined my company for a year plus already. The company finally decided to give all engineers a new phone and number to use now. Its a really good news for my colleagues who didn't signed up any phone contract.
Bad news for me is.... I've just renewed my contract last month... D'uh! Canceling it would cost me SGD$250.... Good news for me is that now I can make calls and sms all I want and the company is paying it~! Another plus 1 would be, I have an extra 3G phone now that I can use as a modem to online easily without needing to pull out the USB cable to listen to calls.
MOTOKRZR K3m with touch controls
TaDA! This is the new phone that my company gave me along with the new number. Its actually a free phone if you subscribe a iTwo Plus Plan from Singtel for 24 months. Actual price? I dunno... Its was last week's promotion anyway. Suddenly, I have 2 3G phones =.="
MOTOKRZR K3m flipped open
Brand: Motorola
Model: MOTOKRZR K3m
Size: 104.2mm x 42.3mm x 16.30mm
Weight: 110g (24 grams heavier than W910i)
Internal Screen: 2-inch 260k colour 240 x 320 pixel
External Screen: 1.3-inch 65k colour 120x160 pixel
Memory: MicroSD, phone memory 50MB
Networks: EDGE, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, HSDPA, UMTS 2100
Camera: 2M Pixel
It comes with standard accessories such as stereo earphones, charger, USB data cable, phone cover, 1GB MicroSD card, MicroSD to SD adapter and a software CD.
I started using the phone after about 6 hours of initial charge. I loaded some music and tried out the sound quality of the external speaker. To my surprise, the sound quality of the external speaker actually performs better than my Sony Ericsson W910i. Loudness is more or less the same, but I would say that MOTOKRZR K3m's speaker is better in terms of clarity. OMG... this free phone's external speaker beat my S$398 W910i's speaker~!?!
After using it for 1 whole day... I found out that MOTOKRZR K3m's speaker is the only thing that I admire... The low battery warning sounds off at the end of the day when I only made about 10 calls that lasted not more than 5 minutes... My colleagues all suffered the same problem...
2nd problem I face... is the text messaging interface. It is so different from Nokia and Sony Ericsson... I keep pressing the wrong buttons for space, turn on and turn off capital letter and switching from alphabet to numbers. Actualy this problem is not really the phone's problem. Its more like I am unable to adapt to the different style of this phone...
Next... I have difficulty using the available features in the phone... Its so hard to browse the phone's memory to look for the media or files that I want... I'm not able to browse the phone's memory like windows explorer with this phone... Just weird...
There is a good thing my ex-coursemate Sushi would say to me if he saw this phone.... its YAO YENG~!! Cantonese term for STYLISH~! Coz he likes flip phone a lot. Still remember a funny quote from him... "I bought my Motorola V3 not bcoz of its feature, performance or practical... I bought it bcoz its ~YAO YENG~!" Let me show you how he defines YAO YENG...
Hahaha... basically, by flipping the phone and answering it... is YAO YENG to him...
Sushi and Ah Wei at Oban, Scotland... LOL
Hahaha... the crazy fellow on the left is Sushi and no prize for guessing right on which one is Ah Wei... LOL
W910i
Conclusion... better stick back to my W910i... still prefer this phone's user interface, CK friendly-ness (yesh, the phone is very friendly to me) and the battery life.
As for the MOTOKRZR K3m... I'm using it as a modem now... just to connect to internet with my PC.

Sony Ericsson W910i
Okay, I bought a new gadget here. The brand new Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone W910i. Before talking about the new phone, I would like to let u all know that this is my 3rd Sony Ericsson phone. My previous phones are W800i then W810i and now W910i. More history, I used Alcatel b4, I also used Nokia b4 I switched to my current brand.. Sony Ericsson. When I started using W800i, I really loved that phone. At that time, I felt that the phone is fast compared to other coloured phone unlike nokia. Fast in terms of responding to my button pressing speed. On top of that... my W800i never... yes never hang even until the day it got lost! And yes... it got lost bcoz of my carelessness... lost it during last Chinese New Year eve...
Then I replaced with W810i... its W800i with a face lift. Almost everything is the same except that this one has a shortcut button that lets u put watever things u use often easy to access. For example to turn on the bluetooth, u dun need to go menu ---> tools ----> connectivity to get your bluetooth turn on... all u need to to preset bluetooh into the shortcut menu. This feature has been inherited into W910i.
One thing bad about W810i is that the camera doesn't have a cover like W800i have. My lenses got scratches all over bcoz there isn't any cover there for the camera.... Thats the only bad thing about W810i compare to W800i.
I got this W810i 1 month after CNY. I got fed up using that Motorola W220... That phone really sucks!! I won't go into detail how suck W220 of Motorola is coz this title ain't about how suck W220 is...
Move on to the new phone. I wasn't planning on getting a new phone earlier on actually. My plan was to get a 3G broadbane connection with the USB modem so that I can online whenever I wan and wherever I want. The broadband on Mobile service provider is by Singtel. It is about SG$23 per month inclusive GST. The plan itself will give me a downstream of 512kbps and total usage of 10GB per month. Not going to use it to download torrent... so 10GB is pretty sufficient.
Brand: Sony Ericsson
Model: W910i
Sizes: 99.5 x 50 x 12.5mm
Weight: 86g (its really light)
Available colours: Heartly Red, Havana Bronze, Noble Black
Screen: 256k colours, (240 x 320 pixel)
Memory: Memory Stick Micro M2, phone memory 35MB
Networks: EDGE, GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, HSDPA 2100, UMTS 2100
Camera: 2M Pixel (just normal, no worries since I already have a Sony Cybershot T200)
HSDPA or High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (not High Speed Dodo Protection Agency) is the new protocol for 3G communication. Its based on the UMTS protocol but has higher data transfer speed and capacity. Advertisement advertise them as 3.5G phone. Drawback for this phone? Dun have wifi or GPS system like Nokia N95. Other than that... its slimer, lighter, prettier and more stylish than a Nokia N95 in my opinion.
Basically, W910i has all the features from W810i. The walkman feature is the same. Just that it doesn't have the push to play button like W800i an W810i. So... have to push at least 2 buttons to start playing my mp3s... There is a new cool feature that W910i has called TrackID. Basically, when we are listening to the fm radio and who dunno wat the hell is the title of the song, we can use this feature to know wtf we are listening to!! Good huh? Can go internet and download the song after we know the song title mah... haha... good leh?
To really see how fast my Broadband on Mobile, I went to do a bandwidth test. Turn out the speed is pretty decent. It has a downstream of approximate 512kbps and the upstream seems to be able to reach 384kbps! Not bad at all for a mobile broadband I must say! I still remember the days when I had 384kbps Downstream and 128kbps upstream for Streamyx... which still so much worst then my current broadband on mobile.
With only less than 12months left in my contract. I was able to upgrade my phone with a promotion price which is SG$ 398 + 100. With promotion available for broadband on mobile, there is a SG$ 100 discounts for all 3G / 3.5G handsets. So I paid total of SG$ 398.00 inclusive of GST. On top of that, I get a 2GB Memory Stick M2 and also 2 tickets for 王力宏 Leehom concert!! But like I mention in my previous entry here, the day b4 concert... I need to be in PENANG!! I am still thinking here wat to do with my tickets....
Since the phone is so new and all... I bought it a plastic cover to prevent it from getting scratches. Paid SG$9.00 for the screen protector and plastic cover for the phone.
I will give it a 4 out of 5 for this phone. Why? Coz it give me a headache on whether going to Leehom concert or not lar!! haha... and also the camera lens doesn't have a lens cover lor...
Other than that..... this phone is perfect!!!
For more info on this phone, please go to sonyericsson.com.

Sony Cybershot T200
Yay, I got a digital camera now. Its the SONY Cybershot DSC-T200!!
Its one of the latest digital camera Sony got in its show room. Got it for SGD699. It comes with 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, a case, some standard accessories like battery, charger, length yard, manual, USB cable, photo editing tools, stylus stick..... I think thats all. Features of this camera is pretty neat. It has a 3.5" touch screen LCD!! 5x optical zoom, double anti-blur, face detection and smile shutter which actually automatically snaps if it detects a smile! Smile shutter is pretty neat actually, how often we can actually accurately push the shutter when a person smile? Well, with this feature, the camera actually does the snapping for you! How nice is that?! Want to have more info? Just got to http://www.sony.com.sg/microsite/cybershot/products/t200/index.html and check it out.

Even the box is nice! ahh... can see my smelly leg

Black DSC-T200 with its cable on

Random photo at work.
Feel wanna emphasize on this photo a little more. Above goods cost SGD30,000.00 Just a drum of cable with gross weight 1.5 ton. It worths more than a proton wira or waja for god sake! Just to let u all know that I am in Marine business and above cable is a RFOU cable. Low smoke, halogen free, flame retardant.... etc. To be more informative, its actually a pile of sand at the left and the right side is something like a crane but we called it a DFMA or Drill Floor Manipulator Arm. It handles drill pipes at drill floor and the status of the thing is still far from complete at the moment.
Went to Sakura had buffet dinner with Sean, Ron and his wife. Another obstacle to get my weight down.... and somemore I just had a 1 hour jogging in the morning.... how to slim down like that... ahha.... ~.~"
Describe about the sushi a little. Overall, I felt the salmon is a little soft. I just can't forget the toughness of salmon I had with my boss at Minoru at West Coast Area! Thats was the best salmon I had, but no photos... basket...

Random flower which I dunno the name....

Another random flower.... just take for fun...

This is the flower of lime tree, cute flower
Above flowers can be found at the back yard of my working place... behind there actually got papaya tree, lime tree, pandan bush and chinese bamboo tree.... just let u all know if u are wondering where I got these photos from.
Went to bugis had dinner with Shi May. She so siao lar... Raya still working till no day no nite. Pity her nia... but well, there are still a lot of things to learn, its whether you wanna learn it now or later.
Had dinner with boss at Jurong Country Club. Food there quite nice but I didn't take any photo of it as I was too hungry already...
Both are actually at Commonwealth Drive.... I went there to pick up something, took some photo on the way lor... haha... curi tulang a while nvm lar...
Picture says a thousand words. Above photos all actually are taken with my brand new T200! except the 2nd photo.
May there be more pretty photos to come!!
