Shanghai Trip Part 2

Really really super tired after the nearly 5 hours flight and 40 minutes taxi... woke up since 5am and finally reach hotel at 3pm... I think many would agree that seats at economy flight is not a comfortable place to sleep. Not to mention that I was awake till 3am that night for packing my things... Ouh.... lying down is the first thing I would wanna do when I check into my room.

phew.... can lay down finally..

First day I didn't really go anywhere. Just stayed at hotel... had a lot Tsing Tao beer with other GE distributors, used the hotel gym, got on to the internet and chat a while at Kennysia's cb. The Tsing Tao beer I had in the hotel was 50RMB per bottle, an expected price for a bottle of beer at a 5 star hotel. Not really expensive if convert back to Sing dollar... 50RMB for the locals could get a very very good meal if I am not wrong. Good thing that I am not paying for that. Don't like to drink beer anyway... make my belly bigger and I am already very fat now... bah... thats why I went to gym.. lol

I have to say the room is really impressive... It has to be impressive for 760RMB per nite... it has 30 channels for me to flip, room was spacious, toilet and bath room was big. 1 thing bad about 5 star hotel is.... even the internet rate is damn high... freaking 120RMB for 24 hours access!!! only 24 hours and the time is ticking even if u are not using it... pay for 1 day is already almost a month rate for Streamyx. But I have to say the internet is pretty fast... it has to be fast paid for 120RMB for it leh!

To be honest, this is actually the first time I stay at such expensive hotel. I used to stay at Highlands Deluxe or Premier Suite, but those are free all the time coz my dad uses his Genting points to get the rooms.

The scale available in the bathroom is pretty cool. The top plate for putting on mass is made out of glass. I would say its lucky that I am not too heavy to break the glass... hehe. Very neat scale they have there, its ashame that it has to be stepped on by me... with my smelly leg.. hoho.. The weight shown above was actually b4 my dinner... I dare not show the reading after dinner... Imagine I had 3 bottles of Tsing Tao and I had a American Burger with cheese, egg, bacon and fries... that almost added 2kg to my weight... damn. U might ask why am I having American Burger at China? Well, I am at a western food restaurant at a 5 star hotel with ang moh thats why!

My stomach was so full, I had to seat on the toilet bowl for about 20 minutes b4 I am able to stand up and took my bath. Wtf... the food portion was so crazy and I f*cking hate to drink beer while having my meal... not to mention I just had my lunch at 3pm...

After bath, time to sleep ~o~

Anyways, took my bath and I check my mails. Went to bed afterthat. Conference will begin next morning at 8am. Have to get enough sleep so that I won't embarrass myself during the conference. I am very good at sleeping with sitting posture since my college days... the fact is I can fall asleep in any posture, no matter how uncomfortable it is... I am still able to fall asleep like nobody's business.

I'll talk about my day at conference in another entry.

Right Brain Vs Left Brain

The author said "most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise". Seems like I am not one of the "most of us" ... I am special... wahaha *I knew that all along*.

Some remarks here base on the effort I made at Martini Princess's Blog...
1. Try to focus on the leg to make the dancer change direction.

2. Looking at the dancer from the top and bottom does not change the direction of the dancer.

3. Hitting ur left/right of the brain to make it awake is useless.

4. Focus on the leg really helps, dun focus on the nipple...no harm trying.... let me know if focusing on the nipple works, lol

5. After u manage to change the dancer's turning direction and you got no way to change it back, try doing other things and ur brain will automatically reset.

6. Can try Hiro Nakamura style too if you want >_< , o_o 7. I tried cursing my brain too, doesn't work... Conclusion, if this experiment really tell us which of our brain is working, seems like our brain can only work 1 at a time... and I do believe is true too. Coz even if u are playing an music instrument with both of ur hands it just means that the left and right brain switches really really fast... like a transistor~!

Shanghai Trip Part 1

Almost 1 week din update already. 1 of the reason is bcoz I was at Shanghai since Sunday... and internet at a 5 star hotel is dang expensive... Will talk about it later.

China, the place where my ancestor came from. There is some excitement in me when I knew that I was going to China back in august. I was thinking to myself... "Yay, I'm gonna visit the place where our roots, origin, culture came from!". I was so excited, I even bought a camera before I go so that I can take all the photo I want! I mentioned about my new camera here.

My flight departure was 8am. I reached Changi Airport at about 7am and there was so many ppl~!! I wonder why so many ppl are travelling at the same time. It was a such a long queue for SQ(Singapore Airline) economy flight check in. Luckily there was a express line for ppl who bought their tickets online. Me and my boss manage to check in our luggage in 5-10 minutes.

The plane took off safely without any delay. Didn't manage to sleep at all coz I watched 2 movies on the way. Flight duration was about 4 and a half hours andI watched Evan Almighty and Knocked Up. Both of the movies are funny. There was also Die Hard 4 available, but I didn't watch coz I had it in my laptop already. *shh dun tell anyone. I have already deleted it and didn't distribute*. Ooo, and The Simpsons Movie was available too, but I've already watched

We landed safely at Shanghai Pudong Airport around 12.50pm and the weather was fine. B4 we pass through custom, we need to filled up 3 forms~~! Wah lao eh, 3 forms.... health declaration, goods declaration and Entry form... It was like going into exam again, have to fill in my particulars so many times.... ^^

Took some photos on the way to my hotel... The hotel is 35km away from the airport... took about 30 minutes to arrive the the hotel we stayed.

Sony Cybershot T200

Yay, I got a digital camera now. Its the SONY Cybershot DSC-T200!!
Its one of the latest digital camera Sony got in its show room. Got it for SGD699. It comes with 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, a case, some standard accessories like battery, charger, length yard, manual, USB cable, photo editing tools, stylus stick..... I think thats all. Features of this camera is pretty neat. It has a 3.5" touch screen LCD!! 5x optical zoom, double anti-blur, face detection and smile shutter which actually automatically snaps if it detects a smile! Smile shutter is pretty neat actually, how often we can actually accurately push the shutter when a person smile? Well, with this feature, the camera actually does the snapping for you! Feel wanna emphasize on this photo a little more. Above goods cost SGD30,000.00 Just a drum of cable with gross weight 1.5 ton. It worths more than a proton wira or waja for god sake! Just to let u all know that I am in Marine business and above cable is a RFOU cable. Low smoke, halogen free, flame retardant.... etc. To be more informative, its actually a pile of sand at the left and the right side is something like a crane but we called it a DFMA or Drill Floor Manipulator Arm. It handles drill pipes at drill floor and the status of the thing is still far from complete at the moment.

Went to Sakura had buffet dinner with Sean, Ron and his wife. Another obstacle to get my weight down.... and somemore I just had a 1 hour jogging in the morning.... how to slim down like that... ahha.... ~.~"

Describe about the sushi a little. Overall, I felt the salmon is a little soft. I just can't forget the toughness of salmon I had with my boss at Minoru at West Coast Area! Thats was the best salmon I had, but no photos... basket...

Zeta Gundam Updated!!!

Reporting updates on my super duper slow progress on my Zeta Gundam~!

Progress actually isn't as slow as it seems. I am actually finding ways to speed up the entire process. As you can see from my previous post, I took freaking 8 months plus just finish building the head, chest and arms!!See how is everything placed within my reach? haha. I got my manual of the Model, flushed cutter to remove the parts , NTUC placstic bag for rubbish, newspaper for my reading pleasure and I even place my bed behind so I can sleep whenever I am tired without needing to walk to my bed! LOL. I even place my model parts in alphabetical order according to the manual!

And guess wat! In less than 2 hours, I have completed the waist, and partial of the legs!! Woo hoo! Okay, still not time to get excited yet. My deadline is still getting nearer and nearer each day. At this rate, it still seems so impossible for me to finish it by 20th. Gah!! Must spend more time on this!

The reason for me to finish my Gundam by 20th is that I will be leaving for Shanghai on the 21st!! Must cepat cepat finish it b4 I leave for 1 week! Its also the only valid reason I can find to finish up my Gundam at the soonest possible time!

Okay, time to go home now and continue on this model!

Zeta Gundam

Wow, its been 5 days since my last post. Not really busy with my work actually, but besides criticizing the crazy things happening in M'sia, I really dunno wat to write already.

So I would like to introduce to u all, my Zeta Gundam!!

Still Partially Cacat, show the box first

As you can see, this is the box of Master Grade, MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam Ver 2.0. I bought it from Nicholas many many months ago.... remember I collected it during his brother's birthday and that was like sometime b4 Chinese New Year I think. Bought it for just RM169! Good deal huh? Although he is selling at RM165 now, hoho. If you are interested in getting a Gundam or any other "toy" like transformers, check out at http://www.e-toyz.com/. Just simply register and you can see the price of the action figure or model of Gundam you are interested. My next target is actually the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam. Actually have a long list of Gundam that I wanna buy, IWSP Strike Gundam, ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam Full Blast Mode, Akatsuki Gundam, Meteor Unit.... I am so greedy and yet I have not finish building the one I have.

Sorry bro, not only I got this image from the website, until now, I haven't finish building this Gundam as well. Damn, I must be the slowest person to finish this model in the world.. Haha... till now, I have just finish the head, body and arms, hahhaha. Damn slow rite... already at least 8 months. Just too lazy to finish this figure.

My Cacat Zeta Gundam

Sadly but true, after at least 8 months, this is all I have done. haha. Okay, I have to set a target date to finish this Zeta Gundam. My target is to finish it b4 20th of October! Yes, I have made the decision, I will do nothing but to finish this Gundam!

By the time I finish it I will post my completed ZETA GUNDAM here! Wahahah.
