X1950Pro

Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB DDR3 256-bit
GPU Clock:580MHz
Mem Clock:1400MHz

I bought this monster at Sim Lim Square 2 weeks ago for SG$345 as mentioned in my first post.
My rig is as follow:
Intel Pentium 4 2.8C @ stock with Zalman CNPS7000-AlCu
ASUS P4P800-X
2 x 512MB Cosair PC3200
LG DVD-Writer GSA-H20N
Acbel True Power 350W
320GB Seagate 7200rpm SATA

I've just installed 3D Mark 03 last week and here are the benchmark score.

The score above really sucked. Coz I found a score on the net showing power color card with lower memory and lower clock got higher score than mine. The score is around 15,000+ there.

I suspect is the fault of the power supply unit. Coz I am just using a Acbel True Power 350W PSU. There was sound coming out from my PC while running any program with 3D rendering.

To prove that power was the limiting factor to my 3D Mark score, I took out my Belkin USB Wireless G card and also my Portable 2.5" Harddisk from my USB port.

I ran another test after that.
And wa lah!! The score jumped up nearly 2500 points. That clears my suspicion over my underpowered power supply unit. Will head over to Sim Lim after work to get a 650W Antec True Power or something.

Hopefully after installing the new PSU, my 3D Mark can go up to 15,000 point.
